Graphic designer born 1986. Currently studying photography.

Finished a BA spring 2010. Spent an amazing autumn term 2009 at Central Saint Martins, London.

Design (in all kind of shapes) is a big passion. Dogs are another. Love photography and books, and prefer tea to coffee.

Looking back on 2010 it was quite a year; I gratuated, Mikke became a part of my life and I enrolled as a photography student.

Best book:
For the past few years I have had a goal to read 100 books within a year. It’s been years since I read over 100 books per year, and even longer since I managed 200. But this year was still quite a good one with about 40 books. Some of my favourites this year has been Extremly Loud, Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer and The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway.

Madrid

Best music:
Incredibly difficult. I love my classics, and get easily tired by the new ones. It has been a lot of Beatles, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and Charles Trénet. And of course some Sigur Rós, The Shins and Thomas Dybdahl.

Best movie:
I love watching movies, but this hasn’t been my best year. And I don’t know if I can pick out any favourites. Inception perhaps, or Inglorious Basterds?

Gotland

Best project:
Mikke! Definitely. Tons of work, but equally of joy and it’s wonderful to see that all the work pays off.

Best food:
This years hang-up was macarons. Easy to make and highly addictive!

Saint-Saphorine

Best drink:
Without alcohol; chai tea or water with a hint of lime. With alcohol; a (strawberry) mojito or a beer.

Best vacation:
Must be Gotland, Sweden in June! With Madrid and Switzerland/Spain on a close second.

Mikke, 9 months

Best buy:
My new Mac Book Pro. And my winter coat. I love that I don’t have to cold outside anymore!

On the top of my wishlist:
1. A new DSLR.
2. The Stelton Cylinda-Line pitcher in stainless steel. Which I now discovered is designed by Arne Jacobsen - no wonder I’m so obsessed with it!
3.  The Mademoiselle Lounge Chair by Ilmari Tapiovaara.

For the next year:
2011 is still quite uncertain, but still exciting! I’m hoping it will be the year that I’ll be able to start to do some freelance work, I’m hoping that I’ll soon figure out what the autumn will bring, and that the year in general will be as good as this one!
